Day 3

Hi All,

Well we are rolling north to Page Az which is about 300 miles north of Phoenix

and is about 20 miles from Utah.

Just out side of Phoenix

We got almost to Flagstaff and saw this thing flying across the sky so we thought we would

visit Meteor Crater.

That thing made one big hole for only being 150ft in diameter. This happened about 50,000 years ago.

So far they are doing a good job of keeping up with me.

Matching bookends.

The view on one side of the road is so different from the other

Right across the road from the picture before.

I wanted to park our Jeep on top of this butte and send to the car rental place.

We got to Page and took a 1.5 mile hike out to Horseshoe Bend Overlook.

Here they come Slow and Poke.

What a view !

Can"t keep Prilly away from wanting to live on the edge.

This view is too big to get in one shot so I had to paste 3 pictures together.

The drop down to the water is over 2000 ft.

Tomorrow we will be down there looking up as we take our raft trip down through the canyon.
